Walmart Director, Marketplace Seller Performance Optimization in Bellevue, Washington

Position Summary...

What you'll do...

We are seeking an experienced Director of Seller Performance Optimization Strategy and Programs to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive strategies and programs to enhance the performance and satisfaction of our sellers across our platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of e-commerce dynamics, seller engagement techniques, and performance analysis. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for driving growth and efficiency through innovative approaches and solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy focused on optimizing seller performance and satisfaction.

Program Development: Design and implement effective programs and initiatives that drive seller behavior changes , enhance engagement, and improve overall performance metrics.

Data Analysis and Insight Generation: Utilize data analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in seller performance, providing actionable insights to inform strategy and program development.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product management, Support , Risk, and Performance team to align seller optimization strategies with broader company goals.

Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure the alignment of optimization programs with seller needs and expectations.

Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team focused on seller performance optimization, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess the effectiveness of strategies and programs, making data-driven adjustments to drive continuous improvement in seller performance.

Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in e-commerce and seller engagement to inform strategy and program development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business , Marketing, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in e-commerce or online Marketplace , with a focus on seller or vendor management, performance optimization, or related fields.

• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategies and programs that drive seller engagement and performance.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to inspire and drive performance.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, capable of effectively articulating strategy and securing buy-in across levels.

• Innovative and strategic thinker with a strong problem-solving capability.

• Deep understanding of the e-commerce ecosystem, seller dynamics, and customer behaviors.

Bellevue, Washington US-11075:The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00-$264,000.00

San Bruno, California US-08848:The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
