Walmart Senior Analyst, Operations in Bentonville, Arkansas

Position Summary...

What you'll do...

DX - Driver Journey Analyst

Location:

You will have the opportunity to work in Bentonville, AR, one of three locations where we have a team presence.

The team you'll get to join:

On the Driver Experience team, we're focused on creating an intuitive gig-driver experience that just works. One that is built through the lens of agent success which fosters trust and transparency, nurtures driver retention, and enables a differentiated support experience - empowering us to become a low-cost delivery partner and platform of choice for gig-drivers everywhere.

The Driver experience team views optimizable contact rate as a defect and is focused on reduction of contact rate as our primary OKR. We do so by holistically analyzing the experience across every phase of the driver journey and collaborating with product and engineering to enhance existing platform experiences, reduce high-friction pain points, and eliminating working as designed defects.

In a lot of ways, we function like a startup, meaning you'll leverage cross functional leadership, a collaborative mindset (understanding the impact your suggestions have on other teams' goals and OKRs), and a full range of product thinking and customer experience/operational strategist skills across all organizations.

Where you'll help:

As a Sr. Analyst on the Driver Experience Team, you'll play a crucial role in our testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis framework throughout various stages of the driver journey. You'll actively monitor data sources and dashboards to proactively identify issues and trends that impact user experience, research already-identified problems to isolate potential root causes, and partner with stakeholders to support resolution of trouble tickets and provide guidance on improving the user experience through informational campaigns.

You'll make an impact by...

  • Developing, producing, and communicating out on detailed reports to provide meaningful insights on campaign strategy analysis, historical reporting, and workflow analysis.

  • Providing consultation to the Driver Journey team to help develop informational campaign strategies based on data.

  • Managing the planning, testing, and implementation of new features and content in the Resource Center and other informational campaigns, while also tracking and reporting on progress.

  • Conducting live monitoring of dashboards, including contact volume, engagement, service levels, user sentiment, and other data/dashboards to identify trends.

  • Performing analysis on contact types and contact tickets both proactively and reactively as issues arise, while communicating ticket status

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams on complex projects.

Minimum Experience & Skills:

  • Flexibility and Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and shifting priorities is crucial, given the past paced nature of our work and industry, and can thrive with autonomy.

  • Creativity and Storytelling: An ability to think outside the box and come up with new and innovative solutions to educational challenges leveraging analytics.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Logistics, Computer Science, or related field OR 2 years' experience in operations, retail, project management, or related area.

  • 2+ years experience with databases and reporting tools, such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, etc.

You will blow us away if you also:

  • Have proven analytical skills including mining, evaluation, and visualization.

  • Can transform data insights into actionable items and propose solutions.

  • Can meet challenging deadlines in a very fast-paced environment.

  • Are incredibly detail oriented but can also think of the big picture and strategy.

  • Are collaborative and team focused.

  • Have previous experience working in the gig industry.
