What you'll do...

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Manager, Software Engineering to join our team and take charge of our Tax Data Hub. As the Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in centralizing all tax data into a single repository, enabling our tax business users to easily access and utilize this valuable information.

By streamlining tax filings and tax audits, your work will contribute to significant savings for Walmart through the substantiation of a lower tax liability. Your responsibilities will include running the monthly Tax Compliance process, which ensures the reconciliation of all tax data as part of the month-end close process. Additionally, you will lead a team of 8-10 talented associates, fostering their growth and development.

Collaboration will be key in this role, as you will work closely with our global team based in India, who support the Tax Data Hub application. You will actively work on synergies between the Data and Application teams, ensuring seamless integration and maximizing the overall efficiency of our tax processes.

Furthermore, your expertise will extend beyond the Tax Data Hub as you become a fundamental supporter of our broader tax application space. This space is responsible for tax assignment on every item and transaction, and your guidance and leadership will be vital in driving success.

• You will be responsible for designing and building a highly stable, resilient, and evolutionary architecture for the Tax Data Hub. • You will work closely with our tax business partners, building solid relationships and ensuring that we are aligned in our goals and priorities. By understanding their needs and challenges, you will be able to guide your team in delivering solutions that truly address their requirements. Your partnership with the tax business partners will be critical in shaping the direction of the Tax Data Hub and ensuring that we are working on the right things.

About the Team: Finance Technology

Finance Technology is responsible for all Financial applications supporting Walmart globally. This includes but is not limited to applications that close the books, pay suppliers, and report our financials both internally and externally.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Minimum Qualifications...
