What you'll do...

ABOUT THE TEAM:

The Consolidation and Reporting Team is responsible for the consolidation and review of the financial results of all of our global operations and is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our internal and external financial reporting.

ABOUT THE POSITION - INTRODUCTION

The Consolidation Team works with various teams across the organization in order to ensure that our financial results are complete and accurate for both internal and external reporting. The team is responsible for SOX controls for key areas of the financial statements, reporting to senior leadership on the statement of cashflows, equity and other comprehensive income as well as reporting key financial metrics about our close and consolidation process.

You'll sweep us off our feet if...

  • You have previous consolidation experience.

  • You have experience with foreign currency and International reporting.

  • You have retail experience.

  • You have experience in SAP, HFM and tools such as Wdesk, Tableau and Power BI.

  • You have proven experience reporting in compliance with SEC guidelines and US GAAP.

  • You have demonstrated technical accounting experience.

  • You drive results with strong financial acumen and technical/analytical capabilities.

  • You have a great eye for detail and can articulate points in a simplistic approach.

  • You're organized, disciplined, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • You're a master at making complex subjects easily understood.

  • You have high standards and can hold project contributors accountable.

  • You are a change agent and are adaptable.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Review various components of the financial statements for International Markets and Domestic Segments.

  • Participate in the close and consolidation process for the Walmart Inc financial statements.

  • Prepare and review SOX internal control documentation including walkthroughs with Internal and External Audit.

  • Participate in various initiatives such as M&A activity and system enhancements for SAP and HFM.

  • Enhance our procedures to add efficiencies in our close and consolidation process working cross functionally with various business partners.

  • Work with our External Reporting team to prepare financial statements for our earnings release and 10Q/10K.

  • Present to leadership on a monthly basis financial close metrics or components of our financial statements such as statement of cashflow, equity and other comprehensive income.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years' experience in finance, accounting, or related area OR 6 years' experience in finance, accounting, or related area. 1 year's supervisory experience.
