What You'll Do:

You'll have the capacity to produce and offer comprehensible, maintainable, testable, scalable, reusable, and highly efficient code. You'll be given the chance to be part of an Agile team, working alongside Engineers, Designers, and Product Managers to tackle some of the most intriguing and challenging issues. You'll join forces with Backend teams to create effective and comprehensible APIs. Adhering to established architectural patterns and proposing enhancements will be part of your role. You'll be given the task of handling the intricate issues of micro service and scaling, which are exclusive to Walmart's e-commerce, stores, and omni-channel platform. You'll be utilizing your expertise in coding, algorithms, sophisticated triaging and analysis, and large-scale system design.

What You'll Bring:

  • Professional experience in various aspects of software development, including native mobile, Android, and firsthand coding experience.

  • Your experience should include working on a consumer-facing app and having a background in GG. You should have previous knowledge of designing and developing advanced platform applications, unit-testing code for robustness, usability, and general reliability, as well as working with external data sources and APIs.

  • It would be beneficial if you have experience in translating wireframes into flawless views, knowledge about animation and screen transitions, and experience with Java SDK, Services, and various background processing methods. You should be comfortable working with remote data via REST, JSON, Google Cloud Messaging, and the HTTP protocol.

  • Experience with GCP, as well as third-party libraries and APIs would be an advantage. You should have a solid understanding of the full web development life cycle and be adept at writing readable, maintainable, and high-performance object-oriented code.

  • Experience working with Kotlin, Coroutines, MVVM, MVVM Clean, View Models, Repository Design pattern, and other architectures would be beneficial. Familiarity with React Native is an added advantage.

  • You should be a team player with critical thinking and problem-solving skills. You should be self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision. Knowledge of Android Studio, Kotlin, GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, and GraphQL is required.

Reston, Virginia US-07759:The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00

Bentonville, Arkansas US-10735:The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
