Position Summary...
What you'll do...
We are looking for a customer-obsessed associate who thrives in ambiguity and change and has a track record of delivering against a roadmap. You will work with cross-functional teams and will be responsible to align and hold stakeholders accountable to delivering against defined goals.
About Team:
Our team is focused on developing a streamlined, dependable company that includes service operations and technology solutions for Finance, People, and Associate Digital Experience (ADE). We also provide a variety of services such as procurement, supplier portfolio management, merchandising master data, and analytics. From developing HR chatbots and virtual assistants to creating invoice solutions and facilitating legal changes, we help drive efficiency across Walmart globally.
What you'll do:
Technical Leadership: Drive the technical vision and strategy for the engineering team. Stay current with cutting-edge technologies and best practices in software engineering.
Business Acumen and Strategic Planning: Comprehend the business context of the work, make informed decisions that align with the overall leadership vision and strategy and identify opportunities to leverage technology to drive business outcomes.
Team Management: Work with a team of highly skilled engineers. Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment. Facilitate team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge sharing sessions.
Project Management: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure high standards of quality.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to team members. Promote continuous learning and professional development within the team.
What you'll bring:
A constant desire to improve, learn more and take things to the next level and a passion for adopting the latest industry best practices.
Experience with agile frameworks and facilitating ceremonies.
Comfortable working in a highly ambiguous environment.
Ability to navigate obstacles and find path forward.
Ability to handle responsibilities independently, while exercising good judgment in problem solving and keeping team members adequately informed.
Experience in or demonstrated ability to lead people/teams without formal authority and earn trust with teams of all levels.
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
Excellent written and verbal skills as well as prioritization and planning skills - with strong attention to detail.
Experience facilitating to large groups.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $91,000.00-$156,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
